    Most Effective

My wife and I have ordered spearmint tea from many competitors in aims of lowering testosterone in pursuit the of pregnancy. This item is the only product that worked. And it really worked (Twins!). After drinking 2 cups a day (1 morning and 1 evening) tests showed a significant decrease in testosterone. This was the only product to yield results. (It’s hard to beleive it’s natural). This may clock in a little pricier than some of the competitors, but if if you are fighting testosterone, this stuff beats them by a landslide. The taste is also superior. After a meal, it leaves you feeling refreshed and squeeky clean. It quickly becomes an enjoyable treat as opposed to a chore. (No more tea breath!)5 stars. Love this product.

Avoid if you have a ragweed/grass/weeds allergy

After reading tons of milk thistle benefits I decided to buy. Unfortunately, I have allergies to ragweed and a few other grasses/weeds and this happens to fall under that category. Several times after brewing a cup, Id break out in hives/rashes. It took me a couple months to figure out why this was happening so I stopped brewing it for a while and then resumed and the hives/rashes came back with it.The product itself is fine, arrived in a timely manner, was fresh, well sealed, and tasted great, but I did want to post a warning for other people who may have a worse reaction than I did and hope this prevents others from having one.

Great amount, nice boost in the mornings

I don’t like the taste of green tea on its own, but the mint changes the flavor and scent enough that I can enjoy the boost (and benefits) of green tea.I also love the 20 pack size and wish FGO would bring it back for their herbal teas so I can continue purchasing from them (I like their tea bags a lot). I just don’t drink tea fast enough to justify the cost of the 100 packs, which expire before I’m even a third of the way through the bag.

    Good quality

I’ve been drinking high quality, expensive matcha and I felt bad about using that for lattes and I like this brand for other teas so I thought I would try it. It is really good. Not the bright green of an expensive “ceremonial” matcha but it has a really good flavor and it is organic shade grown matcha and I think it’s the real deal for the price and quality. Definitely a good product if what you are looking for is to make lattes or put in smoothies so you can save the expensive stuff for a higher purpose.

    Love this!

I absolutely love matcha. And I especially love this brand- organic, tastes fresh, smells fantastic, and a good amount for the money. I add this to my smoothies each morning and love the subtle hint of green tea it adds- not to mention the energy and other health benefits. It only takes a small amount too, so this is a great amount for the price. Keep it in the fridge once you’ve opened it!

    Excellent natural product

I basically put three bags in a mason jar and put outside on the steps. I really don’t add anything it. It’s nice and tart by itself. When it gets cooler out, I will just make hot tea. I ‘be been drinking hibiscus tea for a long time, regardless of the brand. Love the color . Love the taste.

    Elderberry Tea!

It is so rich and wonderful after an evening meal. The flavor is light but tasty and highly recommended. I have eaten a lot of elderberry gummies, and I’m happy to use the tea as well.

    Tastes natural, looks sustainable

It has a crisp natural, fresh tea taste and I love that it doesn’t have the unnecessary individual wrapper, thread, paper label, and staple wire! Switching to this brand for my hibiscus tea for sure.

    Relaxing Tea time

I love this tea. The taste is smooth and somewhat sweet even without adding anything to it. Adding a bit of honey makes it even better. I have only tried it hot, but I am sure it would taste good cold too. I would recommend and repurchase.

It didn’t send me into labor like I had hoped (lol) but I made a lot of iced tea with these tea bags and it was delicious. I still drink this even post Partum.

    Worth the money

It takes a very small amount to put into our tea pot and when it is finished brewing, it has filled up the entire infuser. Great taste also.

More than good replacement for Twinings Earl Grey (loose leaf)

Review for: Organic Earl Grey Loose Leaf Tea 16oz bag (1pound), bought September 2020.The underlying black tea is a good mix of Keemun and Assam. The Keemun makes for a lighter tea that does not drown out the Bergamotte oil, or force an amount that makes the tea taste soapy. Twinings itself has replaced most of the real Bergamotte oil with extract and their website doesn’t say how much real Bergamotte is left. I still like Twinings Earl Grey, it’s been my family tea for more than half a century, but knowing that this organic product uses only the real thing (2% organic Bergamotte content, as per ingredient list) is an extra star in my book. The tea that arrived was super fresh with an aromatic scent (expiry date end of January 2023), which is important as the bergamotte oil fragrance and tea aroma will evaporate over time. The taste is a delicious, light to medium strength Earl Grey, great on its own or (for lighter taste) mixed with 1/3rd Darjeeling. If you are used to soapily strong Earl Grey variants or those made with Assam alone, you may find it too light. If you like Twinings, you’ll probably like it alot.I have not been able to do a direct taste comparison side by side, as I ran out of Twinings before this arrived, but as I am sitting here, sipping a cup of the hot, dark-golden liquid with a small teaspoon of cane sugar, tasting a well balanced mix of light black tea and bergamotte oil, I am letting out a satisfied sigh. I am finding this one to be an excellent substitute.Update 2021: Had 3 1-pound-bags of this in the meantime, and all of them were perfectly aromatic and tasty.Preparation instructions:Serve in thin-lipped bone-china cups of approx. 6oz size (better sensory experience than mugs for delicate teas, see image).Use 2 tea pots and a straining sieve: one pot to steep the leaves and another to strain the brewed tea into, in order to get the leaves out before they turn bitter.Bring 3 cups / 24 oz of water to boil, pour over 6g (0.22oz) Earl Grey tea leaves while still boiling. The leaves should float freely in a pre-warmed tea pot. For less or more tea, just multiply or divide water and tea by the same amounts.Strain after no longer than 3 minutes of steeping through a tea-straining sieve into the serving tea pot. (I am setting a timer to 2:40 min brewing time and don’t stress over 20 seconds more). When I strain the tea, I either stirr the leaves right before, or let the leaves drip from the sieve after straining, to get all the full, concentrated tea. (if you accidentally steeped it too long, you can try decanting without stirring the leaves and it might save you from a bitter experience). I drink it with a little cane sugar and a piece of bread with something sweet on it, and thereafter, my brain starts working. If you are a Trekkie and have not tried what Picard’s favorite drink really is about when properly prepared, this is it. If yours is bitter, you either use too much tea or you let it steep too long.Oh, and I never use tea bags for black tea. It is filled with the tea dust that is breaking off from the properly dried tea leaves, the leftover after the leaves have been packaged. That tends to make for an overpoweringly strong tea, plus the dust tends to seep into the tea itself. Either that or (with luxury versions=filled with proper leaves) it does not have enough room for giving off its taste. Free floating is the way to go.If you want to avoid the garbage getting all wet, just leave the used leaves to drip and dry in the sieve over the pot you used for steeping before throwing them away.Disclaimer: this is the first time ever I bought this product. I have picked and paid it myself and have nothing whatsoever to do with either FGO, Amazon or Twinings. This is a pure tea enthusiast’s review article and I hope you enjoyed it and your tea.

    Very good!

Organic bags (compostable) and the content is hibiscus flowers and nothing more. I steep 10-12 minutes (personal choice) and it’s a nice flavor. Studies say it can lower blood pressure. USDA and certified organic labeling.

    Light roasted

This product has nice individual bags with no strings and no metal staples which I like and, the paper tea bag does not give the tea an off flavor after steeping. I appreciate the high quality of the product and that it is organic. The flavor is very mild compared to the Traditional Medicinals brand. Perhaps the root has been roasted less.? f you want a stronger flavor of roasted dandelion root, this is not the brand. Personally, I prefer a stronger roast like you get with the Traditional Medicinals brand. I likely will not purchase again.

    Good tea

I love this tea! I started drinking this tea a few weeks ago, in the mornings between 8/9am. I did notice I haven’t been bloated and my knees don’t hurt in the cold as much. I’m not saying it’ll have that affect on everyone, I can only speak for myself. I will definitely buy it again and try the loose leaf tea as well.

Not on parr with more expensive ceremonial grade matchas

I tried this culinary grade matcha in an attempt to save money (since it had such a high reviews). Now I understand that there is a reason why culinary grade matcha powders cost less. The color and flavor of this matcha are far inferior to the Encha Ceremonial Grade Matcha that I am used to. I recently read that the health benefits are lower with culinary grades of matcha as well. I will be splurging on the higher grade powders in the future.
